I used these tubes for woodland trees I'd planted out (aspen, wild cherry, blackthorn, elder, crab apple, hazel) to protect them from grazing hare and deer. They have been in situ around the trees for just over a month. All trees are in good condition and have grown well. On reflection I should have bought taller tubes but the larger ones were so expensive and these were reasonably priced so I thought I'd make do! However, when they arrived, I found that they were of three fractionally different sizes and so inserted into each other to make a taller tube if needed. I didn't realise this when I bought them, so I'm going to add tubes to make them taller. They weren't really wide enough for the hazel which is more shrubby. I'd definitely recommend them.
