The Grey Willow (Salix cinerea), also known as Grey Sallow, is named for it's silky grey hairs that cover the twigs and underside of leaves. Like Goat Willow, the Salix cinerea is also referred to as Pussy Willow.

Native throughout the British Isles, it forms a small tree usually less than 10m in height. Very common in wet fenland and marshes. It has red-brown twigs and leaves with stiff hairs below. Makes a pretty garden tree.

The current height of the trees is approximately 15-30cm and they can be planted out all year round.
