The Portugal Laurel (Prunus lusitanica) is similar to the Cherry Laurel but hardier. A fine garden specimen shrub. Popular as a garden screen, hedge or windbreak.
Portugal Laurel has red stalks and glossy green leaves that when young are red. Sweet smelling white flowers in early summer. Can be clipped into formal shapes. The current height of the plants are 10-20cm.
